Every athlete drops. You can learn to come back sooner.

ATHLETE MENTORING · 12 TO PRO

For athletes from 12 to pro, and the parents beside them. You learn what happens in your body and head when the pressure rises, and you build your own way back to your game.

You'll recognise this

  • In training everything works. In the game, one miss and you're not playing your own game for ten minutes.

  • You tighten in the days before a game, long before tip-off.

  • Your own voice holds you back more than any opponent.

  • When the pressure builds, the phone, the fridge or the scroll takes over.

  • A coach got into your head, or an injury took your confidence with it.

You don't need to be struggling. Most athletes I work with are already good. They want to know why the drops happen, and become harder to knock off balance.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

You're an athlete, or the parent of one, and you want to understand how you work under pressure. You're ready to look honestly at your own patterns.

IT’S NOT FOR YOU IF

You want a quick fix before Saturday, or a parent wants reports on what their child says. What we talk about stays between us; nothing goes to the coach or the club.

How we start

  • 1. A 20-minute call

    Free

With the athlete, the parent, or both. We see whether this way of working fits.

  • 2. The Compass Session

    €197

About an hour. We map your ideal state, your Controllables and your first drops. You leave with a one-page map. Deducted from the membership if you continue.

  • 3. Season Mentoring

    from €127 a month

We work through your season. Minimum 4 months, then month to month, with a review at every season boundary.

What we train

  • Return to Zero

A posture and a state you can always come back to, in the middle of play.

  • The inner voice

Hear it without obeying it. We map your "best of" album of game-day sentences.

  • Relaxation under pressure

Staying loose when it counts. A tense body is slower and gets hurt sooner.

  • The Controllables

Your practice, effort and attitude, written in your own words, to review after every game.

  • Attention

Aim it yourself, on the court and off it. Including your relationship with your phone.

  • Sleep and recovery

Sleep and relaxation as skills you train, so recovery gets better through the season.

In their words

"My body kind of loved it, the pressure. That was the first tournament I've ever felt the enjoyment in my body instead of locking up."

Nathan Pellissier · two-time Paralympian, table tennis

"Within ten seconds of the practice we did together, my body starts releasing."

Dennis Donkor · 3x3 basketball, Belgium

"His head no longer drops after a missed three-pointer, and the match isn't over when the ref makes a call he thinks is unfair."

Mother of a 14-year-old basketball player

"It's deep, but not cringe."

Deacon · player I coached since age eight

For parents

What happens in the car on the way home matters. I give parents a few tools for the line between support and expectation. Every membership starts with a 20-minute parent call, and the discovery call can be with you, your child, or both.

Not ready for one-to-one?

Start with The Drop, the free field guide, or join the waitlist for Return to Zero: 12 weeks, one small task a week for training and games.

Start with a 20-minute call

With the athlete, the parent, or both. By the end we'll both know whether to continue.
