In their own words
"It's deep, but not cringe."
"I was eight or so when we started. I wanted to get really good at what I wanted to become, in basketball at least back then. And what I hadn't expected, how much I was going to need it, was the mental side.
It's never one moment that makes it. It's a lot of small moments. Training in the morning, and sometimes it's just talking with you a bit. Or we go for a walk. I think that's just what stayed with me.
Back to zero, I think that's the biggest one. Whether that's during a basketball game or a training, or during work or during school. It doesn't matter what's going on, how bad or how good. You can stay in that moment for a bit and then it's back to zero again.
I think it's mostly because it's deep, but not cringe. Not in the sense that you're in a psychological session and you have to talk about all your trauma. It's more that you get to know yourself in the process."
— Deacon, player since age eight, now a basketball and barefoot coach. Translated from Dutch.
Performing with freedom and joy under pressure
"My body kind of loved it, the pressure. That was the first tournament I've ever felt the enjoyment in my body instead of locking up."
— Nathan Pellissier, two-time Paralympic table tennis player, Australia
"Before a stressful match I feel it in my body — something's not right. Within ten seconds of the practice we did together, my body starts releasing. Shoulders, hips — I feel where everything has been held. Now I see my body as a tool — something that can help me, but not something that defines me. I don't take everything so personally or so finally."
— Dennis Donkor, 3x3 basketball player, Belgium
"Olivier taught me how to slow my life down on and off the court. Your body can speak to you if you listen. Everything that happens after the awareness comes is nothing but a choice."
— Codi Miller-McIntyre, professional basketball player, nine seasons in Europe
"I wasn't super far from a starting burnout at one point. That goal, that hope, has been fulfilled. And I think just in time."
— Jonas Foerts, professional basketball player
From a parent:
"Our 14-year-old son came back to the court unsure of himself, after a hard season where injuries and a double knee operation meant he could barely play. What he could do in training often didn't come out in competition. One missed ball could send him into a spiral.
Over five sessions, we saw real growth. His head no longer drops after a missed three-pointer, and the match isn't over when the ref makes a call he thinks is unfair. Matches are fun for him again — he can relax, laugh, enjoy the game.
For us as parents, it was valuable too. Olivier gave us tools that made us reflect on our own role, and the impact we have — often unconsciously — on our child."
— Mother of a 14-year-old basketball player
Moving beyond old patterns
"I was trapped in old patterns, unable to overwrite childhood 'programming'. In our sessions new possibilities opened up without me ever feeling in danger. An inner freedom felt mentally and physically."
— Antoinette Weitnauer, Non-Violent Communication coach, Switzerland
"The coaching brought forth a clear mirror that — without judgment — confronted me with routines and habits, and showed new unknown possibilities to escape my swamp of efficiency and perfection."
— Matthias Debusschere, musician & music teacher, Belgium
"When I'm feeling overwhelmed, I now dunk myself into a game that brings me face to face with that experience — but the context of the game brings forth a new possibility. Movement has become a metaphor for what's difficult. The two worlds feel a lot more like one world now."
— Tanner Holman, meditation & movement coach, Denver
"I am able to make more conscious choices by confronting the duality of light and darkness in me, time and time again."
— Thomas D'Havé, osteopath, co-founder kPNI Belgium & kPNI Huis
"I discovered new ways of moving, being and thinking. Olivier allowed me to playfully explore what the body has to tell me."
— Cedric Arijs, clinical psychologist, Belgium
Releasing tension the body was holding
"I found deep hidden tensions no other therapist would have found. Through Olivier I found a potent tool to tap into self-healing and self-regulation of my own body."
— Thomas Pretsch, physiotherapist, Denmark
"It's only by accepting and looking at the blockages that cause a hernia that I can free myself from it. I am liberated — that's really how it feels."
— Mathias Horckmans, commercial director, Katoen Natie, Thailand
"I started with a meniscus tear and now I can do almost everything — almost forgetting it was torn. Olivier helped me with mental and physical struggles and transformed practice to an act that supports my life."
— Erez Plizcov, artist, Israel
"Olivier helped me transform the way I see the body beyond theoretical understanding: how the body reacts to certain situations and where it is holding stress."
— Guy Yechezkel, movement coach, Israel
Trusting your compass
"I can now make decisions from my intuition again. I'm more decisive. Less friction that's not yours or no longer necessary."
— Laura, copywriter & university lecturer
"We peeled off layers that had accumulated around my personality, helping me think clearly, find peace, and gain clarity. After the first session, I experienced a state of bliss I hadn't felt in a long time."
— Luc Ailliet, chiropractor, Belgium
"The core is making the shift from all the external knowledge we can gather — back into contact with the inner wisdom of the body. Away from regulating and controlling, toward trusting. And acting from that trust."
— Liesbeth Vander Elst, psychologist & breath coach, Belgium
"Olivier uses movement as a medium, not an end goal. I found deep parallels between the body, movement and entrepreneurship. He filled in the missing dimension in my practice as an entrepreneur coach."
— Jan Adins, entrepreneur coach, Belgium
"After my first session I felt alive for the first time in my life."
— Ewa Nartowska, former academic teacher, Poland, 73 years old
"He's a silent teacher who leads you through your own experience without telling you what's right or wrong."
— Eliška Nátěstová, movement coach & studio owner, Czech Republic. Travelled to Belgium for a one-week 1-on-1 intensive.
