It’s where we completely slowed down and felt more vibrant than ever. The city was completely washed out of us and made way for a new perspective. And so the idea of having our wedding here felt like the right thing to do.

We only wish, that you, as our loved one, can share a slice of paradise with us.
We are so happy you can join us. 💚

Practicals

A sneak peak🍋 of the location ↴

  • Where: South Region (Ahangama – a little bit more inland🌴) 

  • Venue address: will be shared later, but here you’ll find a sneak peek 😉

  • When: Friday 2nd of January 2026 - Welcome around 14:00 🌸

  • Dresscode: We will be floor sitting during dinner so wear comfy clothes like linen, everything surf vibes is ok, shorts are allowed, flip-flops.
    And, yes black is allowed for our hipster friends but make it linen then 🤣
    Just be mindful that from sunset the 🦟 come out. So maybe bring two outfits (long trousers/sleeve/dress) (or repellent). 

  • Extra to bring: Sunscreen, deodorant, bathing clothes (there is a pool)

  • Flight to: BXL - DOHA (6h) - COLOMBO (5h) is most common
    (not necessary to depart from NL for a cheaper option)

    • Your first flight is 6h to Doha. And then approx 4/5h to Colombo.
      Then approx 2:30 drive with the car to the South with a quick stop if you want. When traveling with kids, you can choose to have a couple of nights’ rest in Doha before traveling further.
